In 2012, she presented at International Psychology Conferences in China and Hong Kong and served as a Presenter and Delegate with the American Psychological Association at the 2014 International Psychology and Health Conference in Havana, Cuba. Her approach as a trusted consultant and educator integrates various techniques, philosophies, and practices to guide and collaborate with you on your journey towards increased self-awareness, appreciation, and self-compassion while discovering what well being means to you. As of 6/21/2022 Dr. McQueen will no longer be taking new psychotherapy clients in order to focus on building her Lifestyle Consultancy.
The latest State of Colorado Mental Health Sunset Review process resulted in the official title of registered psychotherapist changing to unlicensed psychotherapist, signed into law on 7/14/2020. All licensed and unlicensed psychotherapists are required to maintain registration and good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and both of these groups legally practice under the Mental Health Practice Act.
